This workshop designed to gently lead us back to our hearts by utilizing Buddhist philosophy, a gentle yoga asana practice and meditation. Lisa will lead the workshop with a short talk on compassion and basic Buddhist principles. Then participants will be led in a gentle yoga practice to physically embody the principles of compassion. The yoga practice will be followed by a 20 min guided meditation. There will be time at the end to share. Please bring a notebook to write in. No previous yoga or meditation experience is required! Just bring yourself exactly as you are.

Lisa has been studying Buddhist philosophy since 2006, and yoga since 2001. Along with yoga, she practices mindful meditation, and with all best efforts, incorporates the Bodhisattva way of life into this modern world. Her intention is to share a droplet of what she has learned over the years in hopes of spreading the magic of a compassionate practice to others.
