Information & Policies

appointments:

Appointments are recommended for spa therapies and can be made online or by phone. To secure your appointment, a credit card number is required at the time of your booking. For spa therapies, we recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to shower, relax, and enjoy a complimentary cup of tea. Please note that late arrivals may result in shortened treatments out of respect for other guests’ time.

attire:

Robes and slippers are provided for all full service spa therapies. Undergarments are optional during treatments. Comfortable, lose fitting clothing is recommended for receiving Thai massage.

locker rooms:

The Remedy offers fully appointed locker rooms for your convenience. As we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items, please avoid bringing in valuables.

amenities:

Our new communal Plunge Pass gives you two hours’ access to our Grand Bath and Cool Plunge area on a first come first serve basis. The $40 pass includes access to the communal area, a towel, and amenity access. Locker rental is available for $10 which includes a soaking locker, soaking robe, sandals, and a towel. Private hot tubs must be secured with a reservation online or with the front desk.

cancellation:

Should you need to change or reschedule your appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance. 100% of the treatment price will be charged for late cancellation (or no show) of the reservation.

payment:

The Remedy accepts cash, debit, and all major credit cards. Prices listed are subject to change without notice. Gratuity is encouraged for excellent service – standard gratuity is 20%. Given that online transactions and payments often involve processing fees, having a card machine comparison at your disposal is a prudent choice. This tool can assist you in effectively monitoring and managing the various fees associated with online financial activities.

service requirements:

The minimum age for The Remedy’s service offerings are: 18 years of age for spa services. Children under the minimum age requirements may experience The Remedy’s services at the discretion of management if his or her parent or guardian is present in the room. Massage Therapies are not recommended if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy. Due to the risks involved, we are unable to perform these services and reserve the right to refuse service upon the discretion of the therapist and management.

At the spa

  • Masks are optional for guests and staff, but you may request that your treatment provider wear a mask if you prefer.
  • You’ll have the option to dress down into a Remedy robe, or go straight to your treatment without changing.
  • Wash your hands, and sanitize your hands at any of our hygiene stations throughout the spa.
  • Be conscientious of spacing throughout the spa. For your ease, we’ve placed serenity markers in specific locations that allow for at least 6′ of space.
  • Access to the communal amenities is included with your service of 60 minutes or longer.
  • We do not allow outside food or beverage at the spa. There is complimentary tea and water for your enjoyment and additional snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the front desk.
  • We are encouraging guests to use touch-less payment by paying with the credit card you use to hold your reservation.

In-Treatment protocols

You’re in good hands with our professionals. Here’s what to expect during your treatment:

  • Masks are currently optional for guests and service providers.
  • All service providers are required to wash their hands before and after every guest service.
  • All treatment rooms are sanitized between each guest service, including surface areas and handles.
  • As always, every guest service features fresh sheets, head cradle covers, and towels. All soft goods — linens, robes, towels, etc. — are handled and laundered following CDC guidelines after use.

Employee protocols

Our new employee policies help maximize the safety of guest and staff.

  • All staff have received COVID-19 specific training.
  • Employees must wash their hands frequently and diligently, per CDC guidelines.

Cleaning & Common Space protocols

The standards for cleanliness and hygiene have always been industry-leading at The Remedy. We’ve increased the frequency and stringency of our cleaning protocols both in-room and in our common spaces — lobbies, retail areas, relaxation lounge, and staff areas.

  • All surfaces are cleaned frequently, along with the most commonly touched objects like door handles. Our cleaning solutions are medical grade and are FDC approved for Human Coronavirus.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the spa for guest and staff use.
