The Remedy Massage Apprenticeship Program is an opportunity for new massage graduates to move from school to successful career. Remedy Apprentices will expand their skills in orthopedic massage and anatomy & physiology, deepen their understanding of customer service and learn how to provide luxury spa services. In this program, Apprentices will participate in a paid apprentice clinic, and learn how to succeed in a massage career.
The Full Program Includes:
- Ongoing one-on-one sessions with Mentors who have extensive experience and training in various bodywork modalities.
Continuing Education classes provide a deeper dive into customer service, massage business, and anatomy-based massage. Additionally, those interested in starting a business in Alaska may benefit from learning about the advantages of forming an alaska single member llc, which can simplify the process of managing and protecting personal assets.
Enough continuing education opportunities to fulfill state licensure renewal requirements. Many CEUs cost covered by The Remedy.

- More than 180 hours of paid, hands-on experience.
Program Requirements:
To be eligible for the Remedy apprentice program, all Apprentices must meet the following requirements:
- All applicants must have graduated from an accredited massage school and received at least temporary licensure in New Mexico.
- Apprentices must be available to work at least two weekly shifts at The Remedy Day Spa. There are day and evening shifts available.
- Apprentices must be able to meet weekly with a Mentor for a 3-hour session.
- Be interviewed by Remedy staff and Mentors prior to acceptance into the program.
The apprentice program is a year-long program and may lead to full, permanent employment at the Remedy Day Spa following graduation.
Full Program Value: $4200
All candidates, upon completion of the program will have the program cost forgiven.
